South Wales Wood Recycling is a family run business and was established in 2003. The company has grown considerably and now handles up to 2000 tonnes of waste wood per month. This includes civic amenity wood, construction and demolition wood as well as broken pallets and cases.
We have over 80 skips around South Wales collecting all types of waste wood from factories and various construction and demolition firms.
Where possible the pallets are recovered, repaired and resold. The remaining timber is shredded and screened giving many different products for supplying chipboard factories, carbon neutral power stations and for animal bedding.
At South Wales Wood Recycling we pride ourselves on providing a first-class service to our customers and as such, we ensure:
- All our activities comply with health and safety policies and procedures
- We have a waste management license
- We are a registered waste carrier
- We are registered with the Environment Agency
- We are members of the Wood Recyclers Association
- Public weighbridge facility
